Meet Susan Beaird

Susan Beaird is a seasoned nonprofit leader, coach, and author of Inspiring Independence: 7 Steps to Helping Executive Directors Achieve Independence for their Clients.

With over 40 years in the social services sector, Susan has transformed from a woman bound by societal expectations to an Independent Woman dedicated to empowering others. Her journey through personal challenges, including a decades-long therapeutic process, fuels her passion for helping women find confidence and security.

As a consultant and coach, Susan has guided countless Executive Directors to lead with courage and inspire independence in their clients. She holds a BA in Political Science from Rhodes College, Memphis, Tennessee, and lives in Germantown, TN, where she continues to advocate for women’s independence.
